Home Rental Services for Renters
Need to Rent a Home—for 12 Months or Longer?
ReeceNichols offers high-quality, long-term residential leases in the Kansas City area. Please find our current rental listings available below. Once you find an interesting property, please contact us to schedule an appointment. Our team of leasing agents are available to personally show our listings 6 days a week.
Once you’ve found the perfect place to lease, simply submit an online rental application. Each adult will need to submit a separate application; the non-refundable fee is $45/person. Please be prepared to upload a PDF copy of your current government-issued identification, last 3 paystubs, tax returns (if you’re self-employed), and/or employment offer letter (if you’re relocating to the area). The application process typically takes 1-2 business days. In the event ReeceNichols receives multiple applications for the same property, all applications will be submitted to the property owner to select the best match.
Once approved by the property owner, your leasing agent will confirm all lease terms within 24 hours and email the final lease for your electronic signature. The security deposit will be due in certified funds (bank wire, certified bank check, or money order) within 48 hours of the signed lease. If the monies are not received, the lease is not official. At move-in, additional monies, as specified in your executed lease, will also be due in certified funds. All leases, unless otherwise specified, will require utility set-up confirmations and proof of renter's insurance. After move-in, the property owner, or their designated property manager, will be available to address any day-to-day questions or concerns.
